Christian Pape, Dipl.-Ing., Consultant and CEO

Christian Pape is Chief Executive Officer of the Pape Consulting Group AG. After graduating in Electrical Engineering he started his professional career in the development and then in the training centre of Siemens AG. Subsequently, he spent 7 years working in the semiconductor sales and key account management field for Japanese companies (NEC, Fujitsu) and spent much time in Japan and other Far East countries. At his last employer, LSI Logic, he got to know the American entrepreneurial spirit and was part of the management team in his function as Sales Director Europe.

Even in his career coaching talks today, Christian keeps passing on the positive experience and emphasizes the need to broaden one's horizon and to increase the individual market value above all by continuous learning and participating in the most diversified company cultures.

He realized early that there was a market niche for a pure specialized and industry-focused HR consulting firm and founded his first company in 1992 based on this idea.

By the year 2000 he led his company among the top ten of the specialized industry focused HR consulting firms in Germany. Since 2002 Christian Pape offers a franchise system, allowing self-employed HR consultants to implement the successful business concept in various industries, under a common roof and with his coaching support. Christian uses his spare time to jog regularly. He plays the guitar and piano, dives, plays squash and cooks with great enthusiasm.

Günter Reinhold, Senior Partner

Günter Reinhold has studied business administration at the University of Cologne with the main Topics Marketing, Product Development and Social Psychology. Working with people was always of great importance and interest for him.

Consequently he steered his professional career – after working the first years as a product manager in a well known company of the machinery industry – into the field of Marketing and Sales. Positions as Branch Manager, Sales and Marketing Manager Germany and Austria and finally General Manager of a business unit for a producer of industrial goods followed. Günter Reinhold knows exactly what it takes to manage bigger business units with full responsibility under high pressure and to turn strategies into operational success. He has gathered a lot of direct experiences in business reengineering, particularly in Sales, Marketing, Administration, Controlling and the implications of mergers of companies. Its his objective to create value by putting the right company together with the right person. The centre of his work is the human being with his potentials and capabilities.

Raimund Gentil, Senior Partner

Raimund Gentil has joined PAPE Consulting Group as Senior Partner on 1. April 2008 as Senior Partner

Following his passion for foreign cultures and languages he studied English and French at the University of Mainz with special focus on technical and commercial texts and then started his career as translator / interpreter. Following a brief employment by a US Government Agency he joined the export department of the technology Group Heraeus. Since then he has become an expert for the sales of sophisticated technical materials for the semiconductor, electronic, and electrical industries.

Several years of overseas assignments to various Far East locations (Korea, HongKong, Singapore), the complete new establishment and management of international sales organizations and the management of complete foreign subsidiaries have provided Raimund Gentil with ample international management experience and allowed him a deep insight into the different mentalities and business cultures of that region.

After his return from Asia he was working in leading Sales Management Functions for Heraeus, Henkel Technologies, and a smaller material technology company.

Reent Würdemann, Senior Partner

After graduating with an M.A. degree in social sciences, followed by several years as assistant in empirical social research, he moved into the field of human resources management. He was employed by one of the prime German service companies, then seized the opportunity to develop a human resources department in a software and financial services company. Determined to expand his human resources management skills, he joined a global market leader in the FMCG sector, initially as Human Resources Manager Germany, quickly becoming Human Resources Manager International, with responsibilities for central and eastern Europe, the Middle East and central Asia. He was then promoted to Human Resources Director in the EMEA headquarters. In 2003 he joined the Pape Consulting Group as Senior Partner.

Rudolf Maierhofer, Projektmanager

Rudolf Maierhofer ist gelernter Schriftsetzer (Typograph), Versicherungsfachmann (BWV) und Kommunikationswirt (Akademie für angewandte Kommunikation, Hamburg). Er besitzt langjährige Vertriebserfahrung im Versicherungs- und Finanzgeschäft (B-to-B und B-to-C), Sach- und Krankenversicherungen sowie Vermögensaufbau und -anlagen inkl. der betrieblichen Altersversorgung.

Er führte auch auf nationaler und internationaler Ebene für deutsche, französische und italienische Unternehmen anspruchsvolle Vertriebs- und Kommunikationsprojekte durch. Als Dozent und Trainer ist er an diversen namhaften Weiterbildungsinstitutionen für die Ausbildung von Technikern und Ingenieuren zu Vertriebsmanagern und Werbefachleuten tätig.

Bei PAPE arbeitet er seit 2008 in der Suche und Auswahl von Beratern und Führungskräften in der Versicherungs- und Finanzberatung.

Wilhelm J. Lauer , Senior Partner for Austria

Mr. Lauer will represent our exclusive partner for the Republic of Austria as of April 1st, 2008. We have opened a branch office in Klagenfurt, together with Mr. Lauer, which also represents the location from which we will expand to neighboring Eastern European countries.

After graduating from a polytechnic middle school for telecommunication and electronic engineering, Mr. Lauer was able to collect industrial experience in several different management positions at Siemens. His management tasks included the acquisition within the telecommunication sector, sales- and branch management functions as well as the responsibility regarding the development of the Slovenian headquarters of Siemens. In addition to his occupational engagement, Mr. Lauer graduated from the University Klagenfurt and the University of Innsbruck with a major in Business Administration that was focused on Marketing, International Management, and Organizational Development-, Personnel-, and Management Development. In 2007, he successfully completed an additional university degree in Economic Law. Mr. Lauer founded the consultation company Lauer & Lauer GmbH in 2003 and carried out management functions within the company. Furthermore, he accepted a position with the Board of Directors of an EVU (800 employees) and was able to acquire top-management knowledge, whereas several Supervisory Board positions accompany his career as well. In order to create new visions and perspectives, to arrange and communicate sense, and to support changes within companies and businesses, Mr. Lauer will be particularly responsible for the following consultation activities:

Antonia Liebich, Projektassistenz

Antonia Liebich assist our team since last year. After several years experience in the retail trade and a longer traineeship in a management consultancy she supports PAPE now as assistant of the management.

At the same time she completes her studies in business administration at the University of Munich.
