Christian Pape and his wife Frau Ulrike founded Pape Personalberatung in 1992 when they realized that there was a market need for solution-focussed HR consulting services specializing in well-defined industries.

From these humble beginnings the company followed a swift and successful development. The strategy of a stringent focus on selected industry segments and clients was a novelty in HR consulting at that time. Up to then generalists had dominated the HR consulting business.
With more than € 12 million invoiced fees in 2001 PAPE Consulting Group AG was – according to BDU - among the top 20 HR consulting firms in Germany.

All around the subject of recruiting PAPE offers the whole range of consulting services, from executive search – for the filling of high-ranking management positions all the way to employer branding, internet recruiting, advertisement layout and publishing, HR marketing issues, corporate identity, corporate design, and many more.

Our most important customers include well-known companies like Motorola, BMW, Accenture, Porsche, Vodafone, National Semiconductor and Siemens. However, medium-sized privately-held companies and start-ups also have benefitted from our services for many years. During all these years the consultants of PCG – acting as Key Account Managers - have offered solution-based support to the their customers.
