Claus studied mining at RWTH Aachen, Ecole des Mines de Paris and TU Berlin. After his first professional years as an engineer in France, he switched to international sales of capital goods, where he was a member of the management board for 8 years. He was also co-founder of Circulania, a value creation platform for secondary raw materials. Since 2018, he has been a management and personnel consultant with special expertise in technical and sales specialists and executives for hidden champions in the DACH region, Benelux and France.

As a miner, Claus thinks in terms of value chains. As a humanist, he puts people at the center. Forming and leading intercultural teams have shaped his career. He is fascinated by the sale of solutions that require explanation. Offering people an environment in which they can develop their talents and interests is important to him. As a coach and certified consultant for potential analyses according to Prof. Dr. Julius Kuhl (Screenfact, Scan.up), he is a competent contact for applicants and companies.

Mastery, motivation and matching – these are the three essentials of personnel consulting. From 25 years as an engineer and later managing director in international sales of raw materials and steel as well as capital goods for infrastructure, power generation and automotive engineering, Claus knows the challenges of the functions and industries from his own experience. He speaks with clients and candidates on an equal footing and has a robust network. He also succeeds in persuading specialists and managers who are well established to make a change.

Married to a French woman, Claus lives in Düsseldorf and in the Luberon (Provence). He loves nature and knows how to enjoy culture.
