Michael Kuchenbuch began his professional career in 1986 with an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk in Munich and Hanover. This was followed by a degree in economics in Hanover with periods spent in London and Paris. For almost 20 years, he held various specialist and management positions in large companies, particularly in the ITC sector.
Michael worked as an organisational consultant, SAP consultant and for a long time as an IT manager, during which time he implemented many large projects and managed teams of various sizes. At the same time, he has repeatedly worked as a coach and trainer. As head of several locations, he also had a variety of general management and personnel tasks.
During this time, Michael Kuchenbuch developed the special ability to approach people, to work out and develop their individual strengths and to successfully manage complex, co-determined, heterogeneous organisations.
Michael gained international experience as Head of HR Compensation & Benefits in a large company with Europe-wide responsibility and stays in several European countries. When he took on global responsibilities, Tokyo was added as an additional location.
During this time, Michael became an expert in the field of sales and management compensation and developed incentive and development strategies, particularly in the global sales environment as an HR business partner. He is particularly interested in business management through different remuneration models.
Michael Kuchenbuch has been working as an independent management and HR consultant, coach and trainer since 2011 and has successfully implemented many projects in the areas of recruitment, organisational and personnel development and restructuring. Michael has also worked as an interim manager in the HR environment, focusing on recruitment, compensation & benefits and, in particular, restructuring projects (separation management).
