Jürgen Rohrmeier is an international HR professional with a holistic approach to the topic of “people in the organisation”!
This is also his focus as Professor of Human Resources Management and Leadership at the FOM University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management. He also teaches as a guest lecturer at the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences.
After many years as a personnel consultant, he has now retired from the active project business, but is still associated with Pape Consulting Group AG as Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
Jürgen Rohrmeier studied economics and organisational sciences at the University of the German Armed Forces in Munich, where he graduated in 1981 with a degree in business administration, specialising in human resources management and organisational psychology. During his time as an officer in the German Air Force, including a one-year stay in Texas, USA, he deepened his knowledge with additional master’s degrees in education and psychology at the University of Hagen. After leaving the German Armed Forces, he went into the high-tech industry, where he worked for 12 years in leading international HR functions at US companies. In 1999, he then moved into HR consulting, initially as a member of the management board and head of the Technology Practice at Kienbaum and from 2003 as an independent HR consultant and coach as well as Senior Partner and board member at Pape Consulting Group AG, where he is now Chairman of the Supervisory Board. After completing his doctorate in 2018, he was appointed professor in 2021.
