Our client is one of the top providers of industrial device networking products worldwide and provides a full spectrum of quality products for industrial networking, computing and automation, and maintains a distribution and service network that reaches customers in more than 90 countries.
In order to further grow the business, strengthen the sales force and advance the customer base in the European region our client is now looking to hire a Key Account Manager focussing on the Embedded Computers market in the European Region as part of the European Business Development team.

Die Position

!Key Account business based on win-win partnership and trust is the foundation for a long term successful relationship. !The Key Account Manager manages and develops dedicated key account customers in the assigned region with the following accountabilities: Coordinate key account customer activities on European level in cooperation with other regional sales teams. Design, suggest and execute Key Account sales programs to maximize sales growth and customer satisfaction in dedicated vertical markets. Develop and maintain a strong mind share with the key account customers and maximize company’s business, with long term win-win partnership as the foundation. Understand customer requirements and actively involve different departments to fulfill customer needs. Achieve/exceed sales targets within the assigned key accounts by fostering a win-win relationship with all assigned key accounts and secure a climate of trust and mutual respect. Suggest and develop the sales strategy/regional sales plan for the key accounts in the assigned region. Implement the strategy that covers reasonable long-term sales across all product lines at the key account. Be the primary sales interface or window to the assigned key account by making regular key account visits. Continually monitor the requirements/ marked demand of key accounts and make timely recommendations to effect improvement. Work closely with the Business Development Department to ensure efficient sales of products and market feedback.

Der ideale Kandidat

Bachelor's degree in engineering; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 8 years of working experience. 5 years of sales experience. Experience in Central European business practice and strategic account development is a must. Experience in Industrial Automation infrastructure is an advantage. Ability to schedule and host strategic meetings and presentations for key accounts. Active participation at trade shows. Ability to communicate effectively on all business levels. Demonstrate sound and good business judgment. Hunter/farmer mentality: 80/20%. Structured, organized and analytical thinking. Presentation skills. Fluent in German and English (written and spoken). Be ready to travel frequently.
