The Sales Director function will provide sales leadership to direct the sales growth and sales force expansion of distributors and sales force and will be responsible for Top Line Sales Growth and Business Development to meet country sales objectives. This function will report to the Managing Director.

  • Definition and delivery of a sound Sales & Profit Plan that supports continued expansion and is in line with the strategic direction of the company.
  • Know the company strategy and develop objectives to execute the plan.
  • Participate in establishing the local sales objectives and commercial strategies. Analyze key indicators (sales, recruiting, parties, number of sales force, etc.) and take immediate appropriate actions.
  • Leadership and strategic sales direction of Distributors, as well as expansion of the business.
  • Analyze both external and internal market factors and use knowledge of business drivers and how strategies and tactics play out in the market to guide actions on market penetration, resource allocation and set specific targets for expansion.
  • Analyze and provide country results to the organization through established weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting requirements.
  • Ensure distributors are informed timeously and properly about the company’s action plans and policies, and they are consistently applying Company policies, principles and philosophy, as well as safeguarding company image.
  • Evaluate the impact of product & promotional activities in collaboration with marketing and finance department.
  • Participate in planning and organizing national and regional distributor and unit manager meetings.
  • Cascade corporate goals to distributor/salesforce goals. 
Der ideale Kandidat

The successful candidate will have a proven record of accomplishment in sales leadership position, utilizing savvy sales skills and a hands-on approach. He/she must have excelled in rapid growth environments with a definitive focus on strategically capturing Sales Force Leadership Development.  Qualified candidates must have the following:

  • Minimum of ten years of senior sales experience with forward thinking brands.
  • A solid education background (MBA or other business degree).
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing and relationship management skills and the ability to effectively communicate, collaborate and partner with the Marketing and Finance departments.
  • Advanced priority setting, analytical and conceptual skills with a proven track record of driving decisions through data analysis and metrics.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate all sales initiatives clearly and build consensus and support for these initiatives throughout the organization.
  • German at native level and excellent English knowledge a must, any other language is an asset.
  • Travel country-wide where required and internationally when requested.
  • Open to career development opportunities within the organization.
